Job Responsibilities

 

  1. Cleaning and Sanitation

    • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
    • Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area and all workstations.
  2. Equipment Maintenance

    • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, grills, fryers) as required.
    • Report any damages or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
  3. Waste Management

    • Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately, including sorting recyclables and biodegradable waste.
    • Ensure the garbage area is kept clean and orderly.
  4. Stock and Supplies

    • Organize and store kitchen supplies, ensuring items are easily accessible.
    • Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries of food, beverages, and cleaning supplies.
  5. Support for Kitchen Operations

    • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep work when needed.
    • Ensure the availability of clean tools and equipment during service.

    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.

    • Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
