Job Responsibilities

<p><strong>Greeting Customers</strong>: Welcoming guests as they arrive, seating them at tables, and presenting menus.</p>

<p><strong>Taking Orders</strong>: Listening to customers&#39; food and drink preferences, answering questions about the menu, and placing orders with the kitchen and bar staff.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Serving Food and Drinks</strong>: Bringing the ordered items to the correct table promptly and ensuring that all requests are met.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Checking on Customers</strong>: Regularly checking in with diners to ensure satisfaction, refill drinks, and address any concerns.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Processing Payments</strong>: Presenting checks, processing payments (cash, credit cards, etc.), and providing change or receipts as needed.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Cleaning and Setting Tables</strong>: Ensuring tables are clean and properly set for new guests, and clearing used dishes when guests finish.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Upselling</strong>: Recommending menu items, specials, or promotions to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Collaborating with Team</strong>: Coordinating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waiters to ensure smooth service.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Maintaining a Positive Attitude</strong>: Ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor to create a pleasant dining experience for customers.</p>

Qualification & Skills
<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li><strong>Education</strong>: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).</li>
<li><strong>Experience</strong>: Previous experience in customer service, food service, or a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory. Training can be provided on the job.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Skills &amp; Knowledge:</strong></p>

<li><strong>Communication Skills</strong>: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers, kitchen staff, and other team members.</li>
<li><strong>Customer Service</strong>: Ability to provide excellent service to customers, ensuring satisfaction and a positive experience.</li>
<li><strong>Attention to Detail</strong>: Ability to remember orders and preferences of customers, and to ensure accurate food and drink delivery.</li>
<li><strong>Multitasking</strong>: Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, including taking orders, serving food, and managing customer requests.</li>
<li><strong>Knowledge of Menu</strong>: Familiarity with the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide accurate information to customers and make recommendations.</li>
<li><strong>Basic Math Skills</strong>: Ability to process payments, calculate bills, and give correct change.</li>
<li><strong>Time Management</strong>: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li>
</ul>
