Job Responsibilities
  1. Student Counseling:

    • Conduct individual counseling sessions with students and their families to understand their educational goals, interests, strengths, and weaknesses.
    • Provide personalized guidance and advice to students on various educational pathways, such as choosing the right subjects, courses, colleges, and universities.
    • Help students explore different career options and provide information about job prospects, industry trends, and relevant academic qualifications.
    • Assist students in identifying and applying for scholarships, financial aid, and other educational funding opportunities.
  2. College Admissions Support:

    • Advise students on the college admissions process, including selecting appropriate colleges, preparing application materials, and meeting deadlines.
    • Assist students in developing compelling personal statements, resumes, and application essays.
    • Conduct mock interviews and provide guidance on interview preparation to enhance students' chances of success.
    • Stay updated on changes in college admission requirements, policies, and trends to provide accurate information and advice to students.
  3. Educational Planning:

    • Help students create personalized academic plans based on their goals, interests, and abilities.
    • Recommend suitable courses, extracurricular activities, and internships to enhance students' profiles and support their educational objectives.
    • Collaborate with school staff and teachers to ensure students are on track to meet graduation requirements and academic benchmarks.
  4. Relationship Management:

    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to stay informed about their programs, admission criteria, and scholarship opportunities.
    • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on students' progress and address any concerns or questions.
    • Attend educational conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and professional development opportunities.
Qualification & Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in educational counseling or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of educational systems, college admissions processes, and career development resources.
  • Familiarity with standardized tests, such as SAT, ACT, and TOEFL, and the ability to provide guidance on test preparation.
  • Proficiency in using educational software and tools for research, planning, and tracking student progress.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their educational goals.
