Responsibilities
I. Pre-primary (Nursery to Kindergarten)
Responsibilities:
Design and implement age-appropriate activities fostering cognitive, emotional, and motor development.
Develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills through play-based, experiential learning.
Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children.
Promote social development through group activities, role-play, music, art, and storytelling.
Track developmental milestones and maintain anecdotal records of student progress.
Engage parents regularly through meetings, portfolios, and newsletters.
Creative approach to lesson planning with a strong focus on sensory and interactive learning.
II. Primary (Grades 1–5)
Key Responsibilities:
Teach core subjects: English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and possibly an additional language.
Use differentiated instruction to address diverse learning needs.
Integrate interactive methods—games, technology, projects—to enhance engagement.
Develop critical thinking and collaborative skills through group work and inquiry-based activities.
Assess student learning regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Establish a positive classroom culture with age-appropriate discipline strategies.
Strong subject knowledge in foundational areas.
.III. Lower Secondary (Grades 6–8)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver subject-specific lessons (e.g., Science, Math, Social Studies, English, etc.) based on curriculum standards.
Plan detailed lesson plans that include inquiry, project-based, and cross-curricular learning.
Guide students through adolescence with emotional and academic support.
Prepare students for higher-level thinking, research, and examinations.
Utilize modern pedagogy including digital tools, flipped classrooms, and formative assessments.
Encourage leadership, responsibility, and personal growth.
