A barista is a coffeehouse professional responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, usually in a café or coffee shop. Here’s a typical job description for a barista:

Key Responsibilities:

Coffee and Beverage Preparation: Brew coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages according to customer preferences and company standards.
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take their orders, offer recommendations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle cash and credit transactions, and provide correct change.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the coffee bar, kitchen, and dining areas are clean and organized, following health and safety standards.
Stocking and Inventory: Monitor and restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other ingredients to ensure a smooth operation.
Team Collaboration: Work with other team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
Promote Products: Upsell or promote new beverages, seasonal specials, or loyalty programs to customers.
Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.








Qualification & Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and other beverage preparation equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
Ability to work early or late shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
