Job Responsibilities
A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately while providing excellent customer service. They operate cash registers, process payments, and assist customers with inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide friendly service.
Operate a cash register and handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods.
Scan and bag items efficiently while ensuring accuracy in pricing.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Answer customer questions and assist with product information or store policies.
Monitor inventory at the checkout and inform supervisors of stock shortages.
Follow cash handling and security procedures to prevent fraud or theft.
Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to the manager when necessary.
Qualification & Skills
Skills & Qualifications:
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
