Job Responsibilities
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with budgeting and tax preparation. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting principles to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Record and reconcile financial transactions in accounting software.
Analyze financial data to assist in decision-making and forecasting.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of liabilities.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and update ledgers.
Budgeting & Forecasting:

Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Provide financial insights to management for cost control and efficiency improvement.
Qualification & Skills
1. Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
2. Experience:
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (entry-level).
3+ years for mid-level positions.
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing is beneficial.
3. Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Xero).
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, tax laws).
Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
Analytical Skills:

Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
Problem-solving skills for financial discrepancies and errors.
Attention to Detail:

Accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.
Identifying and correcting accounting errors.
Communication Skills:

Ability to explain financial information to non-financial personnel.
Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and documentation.
