Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner as they enter the establishment.
- Accurately and efficiently scan and process customer purchases, ensuring correct pricing and payment methods.
- Handle cash, credit card, and electronic payment transactions with precision.
- Provide customers with information on prices, discounts, and promotions as needed.
- Ensure that the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including bagging items and handling returns or exchanges.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, or escalate to a supervisor when necessary.
- Keep track of inventory levels and notify the appropriate personnel when stock is running low.
- Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and security.
- Stay informed about product knowledge to answer customer questions and make relevant recommendations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient customer flow.
- Assist in training new cashiers when required.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:
