Job Responsibilities
A waiter (or server) is responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to customers in a restaurant or other dining establishment. Their primary duties include:

Greeting Customers: Welcoming guests and seating them at their tables.
Taking Orders: Listening to customer orders, suggesting menu items, and entering them into the system.
Serving Food and Beverages: Delivering food and drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Checking on Customers: Ensuring that customers are satisfied with their meals and offering assistance when needed.
Handling Payments: Presenting the bill, processing payments, and giving change if necessary.
Cleaning and Setting Up Tables: Clearing plates, utensils, and glasses from tables, and setting tables for new customers.
Ensuring Health and Safety Standards: Following proper food handling procedures and cleanliness practices.
Qualification & Skills
Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication to take orders and relay information between customers and kitchen/bar staff.
Multitasking Ability: Ability to juggle multiple tables, orders, and tasks at once, especially during busy periods.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring orders are accurate, food is served correctly, and customers are satisfied.
Physical Stamina: Ability to remain on feet for long periods, carry trays, and work in a fast-paced environment.
