An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and preparing financial reports. They analyze financial data, track expenses and revenues, and provide insights to support decision-making within an organization.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, GST, and income tax.
Conduct audits and assist in internal and external auditing processes.
Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and financial planning strategies.
Assist in payroll processing and employee compensation calculations.
Use accounting software to record financial transactions accurately.
Provide financial advice and support decision-making for business growth.

Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certifications (Optional but Preferred): CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, etc.), Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling.
Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
