Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining and updating financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Data Entry: Input transactions into the accounting software with precision and accuracy.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Invoice Processing: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Support Audits: Provide necessary documentation and assistance during audits.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring proper categorization.
Qualification & Skills

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress).
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices (e.g., GAAP or IFRS)..

Experience

  • Prior internship or part-time experience in accounting or finance (preferred but not required).
  • Exposure to bookkeeping, reconciliation, or data entry is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in work and ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare meaningful reports.
