Responsibilities
Provide Academic Support: Offer advice and strategies to help students manage academic pressures, improve study skills, and enhance academic performance. Assist with goal setting, time management, and study techniques.
Emotional and Mental Health Counseling: Support students experiencing stress, anxiety, or emotional difficulties. Provide a safe and confidential space for students to discuss personal challenges.
Career Counseling: Guide students in identifying career goals, strengths, and areas of improvement. Help with resume building, interview preparation, and networking strategies for future career opportunities after completing their consultancy program.
Crisis Intervention: Respond to students facing immediate emotional crises, including stress-related issues, personal conflicts, or significant life events, and refer them to appropriate services if necessary.
Provide Personal Development Support: Help students build confidence, self-awareness, and emotional resilience to successfully navigate the challenges of their consultancy studies and future careers.
Maintain Confidentiality: Ensure all student information is kept confidential, adhering to privacy standards and ethical guidelines.
Workshops and Group Sessions: Develop and facilitate workshops on topics such as stress management, communication skills, time management, and career planning, tailored specifically to consultancy students.
Liaise with Faculty and Staff: Collaborate with professors, academic advisors, and other support staff to ensure that students' needs are met and that the counseling services are integrated into the broader educational experience.
Monitor Student Progress: Track the academic and personal development of students over time, providing ongoing support as they progress through the consultancy
