A driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers, goods, or materials from one location to another. The role requires excellent driving skills, knowledge of traffic laws, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain assigned vehicles safely and efficiently.
Transport passengers, goods, or materials to designated locations on time.
Follow traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the vehicle.
Load and unload goods if required.
Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance.
Assist passengers (if applicable) with entering and exiting the vehicle.

Skills
1. Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
Valid and current driver's license (appropriate for the type of vehicle).
Proven experience as a driver, with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
2. Skills & Competencies:
Excellent driving skills with strong road sense.
Ability to follow instructions and schedules.
Good communication skills.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (e.g., checking oil, tire pressure, fuel levels).
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to handle long hours and stressful situations (for long-distance drivers).
